Britney Spears Tickets - Spending Spree

Britney Spears is no doubt one of pop music’s most disgraced pop princesses. In spite of all of her woes, Spears seems to have no trouble raking in the cash…or for that matter spending it. Last year Spears made a whopping $15.4 million, but that chunk of change didn’t spend time snuggling up to her bank account, she turned right around and spent a cool $13.6. Of course, a good portion of the revenue went to legal fees over a legal battle with her former husband, Kevin Federline for custody of their sons Sean Preston and Jayden James. Her annual living expenses generally hover in the $182,000 range, with a substantial amount going to efforts to keep fit.

Spears endured a disastrous couple of years when things spun out of control for the popular singer. After she split ways with Federline, she seemed to get caught in a downward spiral that found her struggling with drug abuse, crazy late night partying and depression-all of which led the courts to award custody of her two children to Federline. As a result of the madness, her father, Jamie Spears, took over her estate in an effort to try and get the troubled star back on track. Spears is currently on tour promoting her new album, Circus. Britney Spears managed, in her early years in the music industry, to be the driving force behind the candy-coated sounds of teen pop tunes. Essentially, she became a pop phenomenon, rising to the top so fast that many began to wonder how the sudden stardom would take a toll on her personal life. It unfortunately has taken its toll on the young singer, and just as fast as she climbed to the top, she seemed to teeter, then fall from grace as the world gobbled up every bit of tabloid rumor and scandalous photographs that seemed to follow Spears no matter how bad she tried to shake them.

Spears’ first three albums all topped the music charts. Among teenage fans she was the new glittering and glowing singing sensation, and her youthful face was practically a permanent fixture on Billboards while her songs infiltrated American radio stations. When 2004 hit, however, Spears could not keep the “good girl” gig going much longer. After a whirlwind Vegas marriage to a childhood friend, the subsequent relationship then marriage to former backup dancer Kevin Federline and the kids that resulted, the divorce that followed that and all of the resulting legal battles that seemed to leave Spears with the short end of the stick.

Through the haze of unfortunate circumstances, Spears found some clarity and released yet another full length album, titled Circus. While it’s still the same sweet voice, offering hints of pure innocence, those who are her lifelong fans will note that there is a certain maturity to her voice. Spears is no longer a newcomer and maybe is not cause for as much tabloid fodder as she used to be. She is musician who has seen the good, the bad and the ugly in an industry that is very unforgiving, especially for a wide-eyed teen.
