The first season of the Fringe TV show proved to be a successful one, and is good enough that the show has been renewed for another season. Although the first season originally included twenty two episodes that were six minutes longer than the average episode, that has now been scaled back to 20 episodes per season, although they are all still longer than average.
Olivia Dunham is a FBI agent who investigates rare scientific happenings with mad scientist Walter Bishop and his son Peter. Fringe science includes happenings such as teleportation, mutation, re animation, psychic abilities, and others. In the Fringe TV show, strange things are happening all over the world, and these almost appear to be like experiments that the trio collectively has dubbed as The Pattern. A newborn baby goes through the entire lifespan and dies within a few hours, and other things that bring fascinating and strange things to light are featured in the episodes.
The team believes that Massive Dynamic, a leading global research company, may be tied to the pattern. ZFT is a bioterrorist organization in the Fringe TV show, which is orchestrating all of the strange occurrences. The first season had fans on the edge of their seats as they watched Olivia meeting William, chairman of Massive Dynamic, in a parallel universe where the World Trade Center was never destroyed and other differences present themselves as well.
J.J. Abrams, who also is responsible for the series Lost, has said that the story of the series will be easier to follow than Lost. Lost has earned the reputation of being very difficult to follow, and fans seem to be sunk if they miss even one episode. The Fringe TV show promised to be easier to follow, even for those fans who miss the occasional episode. Abrams claims that the show is like an experiment for him and his other co creators. They wanted to be sure to try a series in which fans did not have to watch episodes six, seven, and eight in order to understand, enjoy, and appreciate episode nine of the Fringe TV show.
Good news for fans is that the next season has been slated to premier in September, and if that wasnt good enough, the DVD and Blu ray of the first season will also be available to own in that same month. All episodes of the first season are included, as are gag reels, special commentary, interviews, and many more special bonus features. The Fringe TV show is one of the most popular new Science Fiction series of the year.

The idea for the show is that someone is using the planet as an experimental laboratory, and Massive Dynamic seems to be suspect number one. Massive Dynamic is a secretive global corporation with power that seems like it may indeed reach far beyond any nation on Earth.

Everybodys favorite grill master Bobby Flay brings home the buffalo wings just in time for the 4th of July. Every cooking show looks better on HDTV, and the wings on this episode are definitely a multi sensory experience beamed via satellite into your living room, kitchen, bedroom or wherever your HD receivers are set up. But, wherever you watch, get ready for the pavlovian response!
These wings put a new spin on the familiar, but awesome, garlicky Buffalo Wings we all love with football and our “cold beverage of choice”. The power of HDTV lets you taste Bobbys Hot Wings, simply seasoned with salt and pepper, breaded in a spice heavy flour mixture (pepper, garlic powder and ancho chili) fried in peanut oil to give an irresistible aroma and full taste. Truthfully, my HD receiver was just about to melt down, but it got hotter. The wing sauce, wine vinegar, pureed chipotle, chili powder, Dijon mustard, honey, and butter, looked like a giant hot tub for those 50 wings preparing for you to join their party.
At this point, I had to make a grocery run, I needed to make this NOW. I pushed the record button on the remote and let the DVR on the HD receiver take over while I bought the ingredients.
When I got back, I started the wings, and turned the show back on, which is too cool. Well, also cool is the dipping sauce for these wings, Blue Cheese with Greek yogurt, which I did not have handy. I paused the show again, ran back out and got them both. I got back again, turned on the show and quickly mixed up the yogurt, blue cheese, and fine grated red onion.
Now for the test, the picture on the HDTV I had started watching on in the bedroom showed Bobbys wings almost exactly like the ones I had just made.
I checked the HDTV in the family room, my wings looked the same as those ones too, even the small HDTV set in the kitchen showed wings like mine. I ran to the neighbors and checked it out on their plain old “over the air” set, Bobbys wings looked suspiciously better than mine, softer, richer, not quite real, Bobby looked a little shiny too.
I settled back down in the kitchen with my wings, and watched Bobby finishing up the show. I put one of the wings in mouth, and was overcome with the flavor explosion the HDTV images and the platter in front of me had promised. HDTV makes cooking and all TV more honest, it shows the flaws, I can honestly say “Mr. Flays wings had that little hangy thingy on them too.” And, show the video.
200 wings on the 4th of July, they will look and taste like Bobbies, my family will love me, and all will be well in the world.

Season one’s bachelor Alex Marshall chose Amanda Marsh in the final episode. Alex was unsure about this decision and the couple broke up because he kept in touch with Trista Rehn, runner-up, to the breaking point. Rehn went on to find love in the first season of The Bachelorette.
Season two’s Aaron Buerge picked Helene Eksterowicz. Buerge showed his love for her by paying for her engagement ring himself. The couple called it quits soon after the show and the ring was sold on eBay.
Following, season three’s heir to the Firestone fortune, Andrew Firestone selected Jen Schefft. Firestone was reluctant to commit and the two split shortly following the finale.
Trista Rehn’s reject, Bob Guiney, from The Bachelorette, got his time to shine in season four of The Bachelor. He chose Estella Gardinier as his lady. He did not propose, but instead used his fame from the show to forward his music career. The two ended their relationship.
In a quite unromantic season of them all, season five’s former Giants back-up quarterback Jesse Palmer chose beautiful Jessica Bowlin. Instead of offering the woman a ring, he offered her a plan ticket. The couple did not last, no surprise there.
Season six is the first reported lasting relationship. Byron Velvick selected Mary Delgado. Delgado was arrested on domestic battery charge for punching Velvick in the face in 2007. Amazingly, the couple still carried on their wedding in 2008.
Season seven’s couple, Charlie O’Connell and Sarah Brice, was mostly drama-free in their break-up. There are conflicting reports floating around, but it is believed that this couple has split up.
The Bachelor Paris’s couple from season eight, ER doctor Travis Stork gave his final rose to kindergarten teacher Sarah Stone. They were both from Nashville, TN and, in fact, lived a few blocks away from each other. Unfortunately, their relationship did not last. Because they could not see each other until the last episode of The Bachelor airs, they blamed their break up on ABC. “We thought it was going to be this great relationship, but… over time, when you’re not allowed to see someone, you grow apart. Had Sarah and I dated under ‘normal’ conditions, it definitely would have worked out,” Stork said in an interview with TV Guide.
Lorenzo Borghese from The Bachelor season nine is another story. He gave his final rose to Jennifer Wilson. However, they too did not last. It is rumored that Borghese is now dating Sadie Murry, the rejected finalist.
Season ten’s Navy Lieutenant Andy Baldwin chose Tessa Horst after telling runner-up, Bevan, that she was the one. Baldwin proposed to Horst, but the couple postponed the engagement. It has been reported that they are no longer together.
Season eleven left final contestants Deanna and Jenni in tears. Brad Womack said he was in love with both beautiful women. After telling Jenni good-bye, the audience was lead to believe the ring in his jacket was for Deanna. Womack requested that the show’s producers fly Deanna’s father in for the finale. In the end, Womack told Deanna he wasn’t in love with her enough to marry her.
Season twelve’s Matt Grant chose Shayne Lamas. He proposed and the two moved in together. Grant apparently got cold feet and moved to an apartment of his own. They ended their relationship in July of 2008.
Justifiably or not, Jason Mesnick, from the latest season, lucky number thirteen, will always be remembered as the man who pulled the switcheroo on the “After the Final Rose” special of The Bachelor. After breaking it off with Melissa Rycroft, 25, a former Dallas Cowboy cheerleader, Mesnick proceeds to ask runner-up, Molly Malaney, 24, for another chance. Meanwhile, Rycroft just announced her engagement with Tye Strickland, an insurance agent.
It seems that love hasn’t been too kind to the bachelors so far, but that doesn’t mean things can’t change in season fourteen. Want to take part in the drama? The search is on for the next Bachelor. Do you have the looks, the charm, and the winning personality to find true love on the next season?
In order to be eligible, applicants must pass the Eligibility Requirements and complete the Nomination (when nominating someone else) or Application Form. With the application, they must also provide two snapshots and a three-minute video tape explaining why they want to be the Bachelor.
Applicants can also call the 800 number provided by Advanced Telecom Services. 866-739-3150.
Anthony Wayne works as an intern in the audiotext business for Advanced Telecom Services which provides the 800 number service to The Bachelor. He is also the editor of the Text Message Blog.

Now everyone can find a favorite show, whether your favorite show has been off the air for 10 years, or it is still being produced.
Do you remember the first time you saw Dr. Cliff Huxtable make a face and dance with his jerky upper body and stiff arms on The Cosby Show? Do you remember Theo’s squeaky voice in the first few seasons and the way Rudy always called her friend Kenny, “Bud” in a low and annoyed voice?
The Cosby Show made a powerful and deep impact on American pop culture. It was the first sitcom to showcase an African-American upper-class family. This was different from Bill Cosby’s first vision of the show. His idea was to have a family of six with the father being a blue collar limousine driver. The producers of the show, however, convinced Bill Cosby to showcase two parents with lucrative careers so that the show could focus more on his stand up comedy.
Before The Cosby Show, Bill Cosby had already enjoyed many years of success in the entertainment business. He performed stand up comedy for many years and produced several television series such as Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids.
Most sitcoms that featured African-Americans, showed them as blue collar workers and the show usually focused heavily on race. The Cosby Show rarely talked about race, but it did have many educational themes such as Theo’s battle with dyslexia. When it did bring up race, it usually featured a famous African American musician or artist such as Stevie Wonder and Jacob Lawrence.
The Cosby Show enjoyed eight very successful seasons with NBC. It also tied All in the Family for the sitcom with the most consecutive years of being #1 in the Nielsen Ratings. They each were #1 for five years in a row.
It also received countless awards and accolades including, an Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series in 1985, an Emmy for Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series in 1984, and a Golden Globe for Best TV Series Comedy in 1985. It was also awarded the NAACP Image Award three times for Outstanding Comedy, Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series given to Bill Cosby, and Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series given to Phylicia Rashad.
Fortunately, this classic comedy can still be seen. With satellite television, you can watch episodes of The Cosby Show on Nick at Night, and TV Land every day.

Before high definition television stormed our living rooms, the average consumer really did not have any reason to worry about the screen resolution of their TV. That is because cathode ray televisions (CRT) only had one resolution, 525 horizontal lines. Not much choice there!
It did not take long for high definition TV technology to go from cutting edge to the format people ask for when shopping for a new television. Some consumers even traded in their CRT televisions before their normal life expectancy had expired because they wanted the bigger and flatter screens and surround sound audio.
What exactly is HD Digital TV?
First, let us start off with saying that not all digital televisions are high definition televisions. Digital televisions (DTV) actually have three formats and only one of them is capable of handling a HD digital TV signal.
*Standard Definition Television (SDTV)
*Enhanced Definition Television (EDTV)
*High Definition Television (HDTV)
All three formats are DTV but only one of them is where you can watch HDTV. Screen resolution is the key ingredient to identifying a DTV as SDTV, EDTV, or HDTV. Screen resolutions are the bragging rights of DTV just like the engine size of a muscle car at your local car show. What do these numbers really mean?
Screen Resolutions Explained!
Everyone is after the granddaddy of all screen resolutions, HDTV! If you want to watch HDTV, then you need to ensure the DTV that you purchase has one of these three screen resolutions
*1920 x 1080p
*1920 x 1080i
*1280 x 720p
High Definition TV Signals
Just because you are King on the Block with a 60 inch screen and a 1920 x 1080p screen resolution HD digital TV, it does not mean that everything that displays on your screen is in HD format. For example, your vast DVD collection is only 720 x 480, which falls into the EDTV format, not HDTV.
No need to donate your DVDs to charity or toss them in the garbage, you can watch them on your 720p, 1080i, or 1080p HD television, but some visible loss of sharpness and detail will occur (even if your HTDV has upscaling capability).
To watch HDTV, ensure that your television can handle a high definition TV signal and that your incoming signal is being broadcast in HD. Currently, 1080p is the best in high definition television and there is only one portable media available in 1080p Bluray discs. Check with your with television service provider for which channels and individual programs are being broadcast in HD.
Why Buy a High Definition TV?
High definition television has changed the way we enjoy TV. Even watching the news is a whole new experience! With sights and sounds that could do battle with virtually any theater, you can enjoy cinema quality entertainment right in your own home. With features such a thin chassis, mounting on the wall capabilities and colors that will dazzle your eyes, HD digital TV is here to stay!

Even if a person has a hard time admitting it, everyone watches TV at some time or another. Whether it is just the evening news, or inadvertently catching a few minutes of Saturday morning cartoons with the kids. The influence of television in the American home is an undeniable force.
The reality of watching television these days is that no matter what you are interested in as a viewer, you can probably find a channel or a program that you will enjoy watching thanks to the advances in digital cable TV. Not only does a digital transmission offer superior sound and image clarity over its analog counterpart, subscribing to digital cable TV means access to more channels than ever before. If you are the kind of person who thinks nothing good is ever on television, think again. The digital age has changed the rules.
So how does digital TV work? Without getting too deep into digital compression and how it affects the superiority of digital television over an analog signal, think of how information is transferred via the World Wide Web. Information is broken down into bits and then converted back into its original format once it arrives at its destination. The same is true of a digital TV signal, and digital compression means that a 19.39-Mbps stream, that is unique to digital television, allows broadcasters to choose the resolution they use to air a program. This is why some stations have multiple channels, i.e. 4.1 and 4.2.
In short, the frequencies allowed for a digital broadcast can be dedicated solely to one station, giving a broadcaster the ability to program a single transmission in high quality, or split the frequency into a lower bit rate and show multiple sub-channels.
Perhaps a misunderstood aspect of digital cable TV is its association with HDTV. Just because we all receive a digital transmission to our homes now does not mean all the programming received will be picture perfect high definition. Digital simply refers to the way the signal is transferred, and the transmission can provide regular programming, as well as HDTV.
Whether or not people understand or care about how digital TV works, the way we watch TV is forever changed. With interactive guides, video on demand and so many other features that can be included with digital cable TV, the enhanced experience that comes with the service has reached a new benchmark in terms of home entertainment. These days it is perfectly acceptable to say you watch TV. In fact, many people might think it strange if you do not.

Technology unfolds before our eyes in the world of television every night. From computer hacking to 100 uses of a black light, the everyday consumer is becoming more knowledgeable in the variety of tech-tools available today to help crime-solvers. Areas of advancement also portrayed on TV include how wet and fire-damaged documents can be restored or salvaged enough to solve a crime.
Can everything seen on our favorite crime shows really happen or is TV working its magic to make us think the particular technologies really exist? A recap of a couple episodes of the CBS series, ‘CSI’ and ‘CSI: Miami’, will show how Hollywood recovers items compared to professional document recovery services.
HOW IT IS REALLY DONE
To know if the document and photo recovery we see on TV is right or wrong, we first need to know how the professionals really do it.
Desiccant Dehumidification
This is a process that quickly removes moisture from the air in a safe and effective way. This process helps prevent mold growth on documents, which can cause further damage, by allowing the trapped water molecules to evaporate.
Vacuum Freeze Drying
Freeze drying is an effective way to restore bound documents like books or items in a binder. When items are freeze-dried, they are put into a special chamber that is very cold and helps dehumidify the products being restored. If this is not done correctly, paper items can be warped due to uneven distribution of pressure in the chamber. Vacuum freeze drying is considered to be the most effective and efficient form of document restoration today.
HOW TV DOES IT
CSI: Miami: Simple Man (Season 1, Episode 17): In this episode, Horatio is supposed to testify against the husband of a city official who is accused of killing a Latina housekeeper. New evidence emerges that could prove the man’s innocence when a second victim is found.
In searching a car found in a body of water, a purse was found during the investigation. A slip of paper from the purse was recovered, but the ink on the newsprint had been too degraded to read by the water.
Speedle takes the wet, fragile slip of paper and places it in a container and explains that freeze drying is the best way to remove the water from the paper without damaging it. He then places the container in the freeze dry system machine. In a split second, the paper is dry and ready to be examined under an infrared light.
While freeze drying is one of the best methods to use when recovering wet documents, it is a process that does not happen in the blink of an eye. It is a process that must be done slowly, at least slow enough to make sure the paper warps as little as possible. If a restoration specialist was dealing with just one small piece of paper, like Speedle, he or she may think it more efficient to use the desiccant dehumidification method to dry the paper.
CSI: Miami: Freaks and Tweaks (Season 1, Episode 23): While investigating an explosion in a barn, the team finds a man that was killed. A charred, fragile paper was found in the pocket of the dead man’s pants, which they believe has important information written on it.
Eric and the lab assistant apply parylene with the use of special equipment to coat the piece of paper. The parylene was used to make the paper stable enough for analysis. In a matter of seconds, the paper is coated and ready to be examined. The paper, still looking the same, is placed under an infrared light. A phone number and name suddenly pop up on the computer screen thanks to the parylene coating and infrared light.
A parylene coating chamber is substantially bigger than the one used in this episode. It requires vacuums and pumps to administer the substance evenly. It also takes more than a few seconds to coat an item properly as there is more than one step to apply parylene.
On TV, things seem to happen instantly. However, when it comes to drying and restoring documents, patience and precision is vital. Document recovery services outside of TV Land offer results in a timely manner that will ensure your documents do not fall victim to mold and decomposition.
Flora Richards-Gustafson is a frequent writer for Rapid Refile.
The right document recovery service company knows much more than TV scientists about helping a business. Rapid Refile is ready to help with its vacuum freeze drying process for water damaged books and wet documents.

As we already know the media has been reporting that Peter Andre and Katie Price formerly one of the UK’s much loved celebrity couples have separated and are looking to get a divorce. The couple have 3 kids together and were planning to have many more in the future. But in 2009 things took a turn for the worst.
The couple met in the jungle on reality show, I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, they then went on to have a whirlwind romance. As well as that the couple earned themselves a small fortune by allowing the ITV cameras to follow their lives around. But since the split the couple have separated management firms and it looks highly likely that both of them are going to go head to head in a TV battle following their lives.
It has already been stated that Peter Andre has signed a deal with ITV and Katie Price is set to follow. Peter Andre has been doing well for himself since the split and has already reportedly signed a 1.1m deal to feature in a Bollywood film. Peter has also been making his comeback in China. His new single Call The Doctor is the single most requested song on iTunes following his performance at the film awards which was watched by 600million viewers.
On the other hand it is rumoured that Katie Price has said that she is now well over Pete after she was snapped at Junior’s 4th birthday party. It is rumoured she said “It has been really hard but I think I’m finally getting there.”The party was all about me, my mates and the kids, nothing else upsetting got in the way. “It is a chance for me to let my hair down after a very sad few weeks. “It has been the perfect medicine.”
Price has also declared that she will not be hanging on to Peter for another second, and she will be again focusing on her modelling career, which comes as great news to her mother. It is said that The 56-year-old told Jordan: The way you are behaving, you’ll end up losing your kids. Can’t you see what you are doing to your family?’, according to The People. She added: ‘Peter’s seen as this perfect dad and you are snapped getting wasted. It has got to stop.’
So finally lets see who will win the TV battle of the century will it be Katie Price or Peter Andre.
