Speeding up boot time with a Windows Vista and Windows XP computer can be an interesting action to attempt. One of your final stops in trying to speed up the boot process of your computer should be in the services panel. You can find this panel within your control panel, and it controls which services, also known as processes start when your computer boots up. Many of the processes are unnecessary, and with a small amount of guidance, nearly anyone can remove some of the more useless ones.

Some processes can be changed so that instead of running automatically, they are run only when they are needed. In any case, you should see an improvement in the time that it takes to boot up your computer. When you have a problem with your registry, use a proven registry cleaner as well as other software to help your computer boot up more quickly.
