Located smack dab in the middle of the most cosmopolitan section of Barcelona, the area is made distinctive by its many houses that are architectural marvels in their own right. The creations of a the Spanish architect Gaudi, these houses along with the fabulous Gaudi Museum, serve as a testament to the man’s genius. Other noteworthy sights at the plaza are the Sagrad Familia and the Parc Guell.
